Terms of service

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in details, and use the service lawfully. You are responsible for what you say or enter during practice. Do not use YapNow to harm others, violate rights, bypass service limits, or interfere with the service.

YapNow is a language-practice tool. Its generated conversations and feedback can be incomplete or incorrect and are not professional, legal, medical, or employment advice.

A paid subscription is required for live practice and metered AI features. There is no free plan or free trial. Available minutes, vocabulary limits, voices, and other plan features are shown before purchase and may differ by plan.

Apple handles subscriptions purchased on iOS through the App Store. Stripe handles subscriptions purchased on the web. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules from the provider that processed your purchase also apply. Deleting your YapNow account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

YapNow uses third-party AI services to respond to speech and create learning material. Availability, response quality, and generated content can vary. Do not submit information you are not authorized to share. The Privacy policy explains the data sent to these providers and the consent required before use.

You keep your rights in content you provide. You allow YapNow and its service providers to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. YapNow's software, design, brand, and curated learning materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We may limit or suspend access when needed to protect people, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, or enforce these terms. You can delete your account in Settings. Some billing or security records may be retained when law or dispute handling requires it.

We may change or discontinue features and will provide notice when a change materially affects paid access. To the extent permitted by law, YapNow is provided without a promise that every response will be accurate or that the service will always be uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
